It would seem that I’ve been slowing down on the music. There has not been a new track up in a while, and the new track with our wonderful new artist ‘Maya Spring’ is behind schedule to say the least. Just before going out of town for a couple weeks, one of my studio monitors began having some serious troubles. An obvious essential part of any studio. So this has caused some setbacks. Good studio monitors are not cheap.
The main issue is that they do not make the model of speaker I have any longer. So if I wanted to replace a single full speaker, it’s not really an option. To have a matched pair would mean purchasing a full new set. Arghhhh. So I finally found a local place that fixes all sorts of high end speakers, and they are working on it. Once the repair is complete….it’s back to work! Until then, there are these delays. The new track “Levitation” with Maya Spring is near completion. Followed next by a soon to be done vocal track by one of my old friends south of the border. An incredible writer and hip hop artist that I’ve known for a very long time.
